Our Story

A Passion for Supporting Neurodivergent Individuals

For two decades, Link’s founder, Liz Green, worked as an Occupational Therapist (OT), serving thousands of neurodivergent clients. Liz loved working with clients but kept observing a few pervasive themes:

Neurodivergent individuals experience a “services cliff,” or a significant drop in services, once they reach adulthood.
Many neurodivergent adults struggle with un/under-employment despite having tremendous skills.
There is a strong business case for cognitive diversity in teams, yet neurodivergent talent is undervalued.
Occupational Therapists are trained to be “outside-the-box” thinkers, yet often face rigid expectations in healthcare settings.

Introducing: Link Consulting

Liz coupled these themes with her own desire to innovate, which fueled the development of Link Consulting in 2019. Clare Bertrand, MS, Ed., career navigation and workforce expert, joined the team as co-founder in 2023 because she shared Liz’s passion for creating a neurodiversity-inclusive world.

Clare leveraged her business and non-profit experience to develop a business strategy that fostered partnerships, enabling Link to build evidence and proof points alongside researchers from top universities and companies pioneering new pathways for neurodivergent talent.
